Dun Agro Hemp Group on CBD:

In the childhood phase of CBD revival, we recognized the potency of this ancient medicine, which has recently returned to the top of health and lifestyle. By focusing on the quality and efficiency, we have managed to find different ways in this market by supplying the full range, from water soluble raw materials in the leaves through our purpose built hemp juice production line or traditional, through the drying the leaves to make CBD pellets, CBD paste and CBD oil.

We supply our CBD products to retailers, online retailers, brands, trademarks, according to the required specifications. Our national and international customers have appreciated the consistent quality of our products and services for years and have successfully launched their finished products and brands using our raw materials in different parts of the world.

What is CBD?

The popularity of CBD oil has grown enormously in recent times. But what is it actually?

CBD, in full cannabidiol, is an active substance that is extracted from leaves and flower tops of industrial hemp (fiber hemp), a hemp variant that has been legally cultivated by our company for 26 years.

It is sold as a dietary supplement, in the form of oil and capsules, and as a constituent of other products, for example, care products.

Why does our body react to CBD?
Our body contains the so-called endocannabinoid system. This system consists of receptors, the body’s own cannabinoids (endocannabinoids) and enzymes that produce and break down these substances. Receptors are large, complex molecules that are found in the cell wall of our body. Certain substances can react with these receptors.

It is like a key and lock: if the substance fits well into the complex structure of the receptor, a reaction can be initiated. In summary, the endocannabinoid system has several roles that have a strong influence on our sense of well-being, namely: reducing pain, controlling movements, relaxing, eating, forgetting, sleeping and protecting the nervous system.

Because CBD has an effect on our endocannabinoid system, it offers the opportunity to help fulfill or restore one or more of these roles. For example, when there is a shortage of receptors or too little production of endocannabinoids.

Full spectrum CBD oil.

In addition to CBD, there are more than five hundred different constituents in the hemp plant. By full spectrum is meant the complete number of substances. Examples of other substances besides cannabinoids (for example CBDa) that can be present in the hemp plant are terpenes, chlorophyll and flavonoids.

Dun Agro Hemp Group’s full spectrum oils are manufactured with hemp extracts made with supercritical CO2 extraction from a renowned CO2 extraction company from Germany. CO2 extraction is a method for extracting substances from organic substances, without the use of harmful substances or heating.

In order to retain all substances as much as possible, virtually no heating should take place. Due to heating, substances such as terpenes can be lost, which is a pity because these natural fragrances and flavors have their own beneficial effect.

In addition, we have introduced the so-called “entourage effect” by Israeli scientists Shimon Ben-Shabat and Raphael Mechoulam. Each hemp plant has its own “profile”, with different percentages and proportions of cannabinoids, terpenes and other substances. In addition to the fact that these substances have their own beneficial effect, there is synergy: the substances can influence or even reinforce each other’s effect. This is mainly the reason that preference is given to a full spectrum oil than just CBD.

Own Laboratory

In order to meet such high standards and to guarantee our customers the best quality material, we have our own laboratory where we test all raw materials and end products for CBD content, THC content and purity. It is important that the requested CBD percentage is present in the product and that the THC content is below 0.05% (standard in the Netherlands). All our products are only released when they meet all these standards.
