Before our CBD products are shipped, they are first extensively tested by our own lab technicians, so that we know exactly what the CBD and THC content of the product is.
The cannabinoids in our extracts and oils are tested by HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography). When heated, the product changes and acids such as CBDA and THCA are converted into CBD and THC. With the HPLC method, no heating of the product is required, which gives a good picture of all cannabidioids present. These values are recorded in a COA (Certificate of analysis) and sent to the customer.
Through the COA, the customer knows that the product meets the desired CBD content, but also that it complies with the laws and regulations regarding THC. In the Netherlands, the THC content must be below 0.05%.
